Working with the Automatic Diagnostic Repository Command Interpreter (adrci), I wanted to add a trace file to an incident package.\u00a0 When attempted I received the following error:<\/p>\n

DIA-49424: Directory outside ADR not allowed<\/p><\/div>\n

The Simple Answer:\u00a0 use the fully qualified name from the root directory<\/p>\n

Explanation:\u00a0 When I looked up in the “help ips add file”, it instructed to use the ADR_HOME for adding a file.\u00a0 Which I took as the path from the “show homes” command, but that did not work.\u00a0 Using the the fully qualified name from the root directory resolved my issue for adding a trace file to an incident package.<\/p>\n
